Shooting Sports Weekend
We are currently in the planning stages for the Shooting Sports Weekend April 30-May 2 at Ten Mile River Scout Reservation. There is an initial non-refundable deposit of $10 that we must submit before march 1st along with everyone's tee-shirt size and shooting preferences. We need to receive your $10 at our next Troop meeting February 19th in order to get the money in on time. Please remember to bring it with you if you would like to go.

Troop 510 Important Upcoming Events
1. The deadline for the Summer Camp early bird discount of $30 is fast approaching. The full fee must be paid by May 22nd which is two weeks from tonight.
2. Scouts need to sign up now for the Memorial Day Parade on May 25th. Marching in the parade will earn the Scout an additional $20 off the cost of summer camp. Sign up by May 15th.
3. Saturday May 23rd of Memorial Day weekend the Troop will be decorating the Veteran’s Graves at Holy Cross Cemetery. We ask all of our Scouts to participate.
4. There is a unique service project being conducted at Floyd Bennett Field on Saturday June 6th, the day before our Purple Elephant Sale. Each participant will earn a unique CSP and will be doing a tremendous service for our community. Scouts need to sign up now. Deadline to sign up is May 15th.
5. Finally, Sunday June 7th is our Purple Elephant sale. This fundraiser is a great opportunity for your son to earn credit in his Troop Account that can be used as needed for Troop expenses such as camping trips. We hope all will take part.
